Process: Gather Information
Focus groups
Focus
groups are a rich source of information
when developing marketing, educational
or quality improvement initiatives. Focus
group interviews with stakeholder groups
(patients, physicians, consumers, target
audiences) yield qualitative information
that is not readily attainable in one-on-one
interviews. Healthcare Performance Consulting,
Inc has broad experience planning and facilitating
focus groups around healthcare topics.
Clinical and administrative
data
measurement
is an important component of any quality
initiative. HPC utilizes clinical and administrative
data from our clients or from third party
sources, to provide baseline assessments,
benchmarks, and outcomes measures.
Change
Readiness Inventory®
The
Change Readiness Inventory is a state-of-the-art
tool used for analyzing forces, images,
attitudes, and barriers to change among
physicians. HPC uses the Change Readiness
Inventory in planning physician education, quality
improvement interventions, and market research
activities.
Work
Limitations Questionnaire®
HPC
utilizes the Work Limitations Questionnaire® with
employer projects. The WLQ measures productivity
loss (presenteeism) due to health disorder,
and is used to measure the effectiveness
of health education and promotion initiatives.
